UI Art Test | Action Interface *Cue Explosions*

Here's an older test from a few years ago, but I think it still holds up alright. The two tasks here was to create a main menu screen and a set of associated icons. Conceptually, I struggled a bit with the menu as the information being displayed was pretty sparse, although I think it had some potential. What I do think was working well here is the bright, textured background. I imagined rendering out some distressed video loop of a car driving from explosions with layers particle effects could be quite pleasing visually.
