Here's another art test from last year. The test was basically to create a weapons modification screen and from that point it was left pretty open ended. Key take-aways from the test is that it should be for console / PC, esthetically pleasing and push UI conventions.
First and foremost, you can say I failed with pushing UI conventions with this. I stuck to a fairly standard list navigation convention, but overall I'm pleased with the result (and I think the studio was too). I was eventually invited in for a really nice interview with some super talented people!
