I was looking through old thumb drives the other day when I stumbled upon some artwork that I made right before heading to Goodgame Studios (March 2015). For about a month I contracted with EA on some prototypes for a mobile game based on the movie The Secret Life of Pets. One of the many prototypes that we made was a match three style game. I had created a bunch of 3D iconography / models to be used in real time as physics based puzzle pieces.
Of course the tricky part of creating 3D icons is that they need to be fairly lightweight (poly count) yet still readable when small. Considering that I only had a week or so to work on this, I kinda dig how they came out. In my opinion, the assets feel pretty tangible, like you want to press and move them. Anyways, check em out below!
